"Typical almost everyday lineup, basement boxers blindfolds. Once they're in uniform mad brothers coming stomping down the stairs and into the basement screaming, scaring the shit out of the pledges. Then while they're facing the wall we throw some eggs at their back full throttle, usually draws a little blood. Then we break out the hose and spray them with the freezing cold water, mostly in their face…"
"After three days of sleep deprivation, we allowed the pledges to go to bed early (4 a.m). One of our brothers who is enlisted in the marines proceeded to surprise our sleepy pledges with a 5 a.m. military workout. This workout started with a several mile run and was finished with ranger push ups, jumping jacks, and wallsits. This part of the workout was done once they finished their bucket of oatmeal…"
"Every semester my fraternity hosts a night where the pledges are forced to race to down gallons of milk, in under 8 minutes, play beer pong with milk, and just straight up chug excessive amounts of milk. By the end of the night the house reeks of vomit and curdled milk, and we send the pledges off to bed without allowing them to wash up or shower. It's one of the most disgusting things I've ever witnessed."
